Aetrex specializes in foot scanning technology and orthotics. The company also has a fast-growing comfort and wellness footwear line. Albert, the brands 3D foot scanner, offers a comprehensive, personalized foot scanning technology. The system uses computer vision, sensor, AI, and machine learning technologies to provide users with the most data about their feet (size, length, width, height, pressure, arch type and much more), in under one minute. Aetrexs biggest advances to date include key technology integrations with the Albert Operating System such as computer vision technology allowing for 3D foot views; machine learning to improve accuracy and determine industry fit; and 3D printing to produce a truly custom orthotic. The Aetrex Technology team designs and develops all hardware and software in-house. As leaders in the foot health and wellness space, Aetrex also owns and operates foot.com, a Foot Health Site on the internet. Aetrex Orthotics are available in a variety of options based on foot type and footwear style, for both men and women. Aetrex Israel Ltd was founded after the acquisition of Fitracks in 2008. In 2017, Aetrex launched the iStep foot scanner, which was built entirely at Aetrex's technology division in Israel.

This New Foot Scanner Can Tell You Everything About Your Feet

Aetrex Worldwide Inc. is unveiling its latest update to its iStep foot scanner called Albert. The new scanning system can measure pressure, sizing, conduct 3-D imaging, assess pronation, and track gait. The system was built in-house by a team in Israel. The Albert scanner is equipped with sensors, LED lights, and cameras to scan a customers feet and provide detailed information about their feet. Aetrex plans to roll out 200 sets of the Albert this spring and summer. Retailers can rent the scanner for $300 per month, with the possibility of the fee being waived based on sales. The company believes that the Albert scanner will boost orthotics sales and provide retailers with valuable data capture.

Aetrex Acquires Foot Scanning Firm

Aetrex Worldwide Inc. has acquired Fitracks Inc., a leading manufacturer of foot scanning hardware devices for the shoe industry. The acquisition will add top programmers and engineers to Aetrexs technology team, expediting the development of technology for the footwear industry. Aetrexs iStep technology, created in partnership with Fitracks, is a leading digital foot analysis system offered as a free service at over 4,500 locations worldwide. Noam Danenberg, former CEO of Fitracks, will remain in an advisory role.
