חברה ישראלית פיתחה חיישן להגנת רוכבי אופנועים וקורקינטים מתאונות כלכליסט
Israeli company Anakweik has developed a sensor to protect motorcyclists and scooter riders from accidents. The company has so far raised $2.3 million from investors such as Daniel Ramot from VIA and HCS Capital Ltd. The sensor provides auditory alerts to the rider about dangers around them. Anakweik will soon start a pilot with LIME scooters in Tel Aviv. The companys system is built around a chip-based sensor that operates at low power and can be connected to the riders helmet or the vehicle itself. The sensor provides alerts about vehicles in 360 degrees around the rider, warns by voice about the threat and its direction, and even warns drivers behind by means of LED lights connected to the system about the existence of the rider in front of them.

מערכת למניעת תאונות של ANACHOIC תותקן על קורקינטים של LIME
Israeli start-up ANACHOIC has developed a safety system to prevent accidents for two-wheeled vehicles. The system will be installed on some of the shared scooters of LIME, starting from the end of 2021. The compact system, the size of a coin, scans the space using a micro-radar platform and provides the rider with active 360-degree protection. The rider receives auditory warnings about threats and dangers in blind spots, the risk of collision from behind, and pedestrians entering the travel path.

Israeli startup Anachoic partners with LIME to keep electric scooter riders safe
Micro-mobility operator LIME has partnered with Israeli startup Anachoic to integrate a real-time safety system into its fleet of shared scooters. The system, named HAALO, is an Advanced Rider Assistance System (ARAS) designed for powered two-wheelers. It uses a proprietary automotive-grade micro-radar for real-time 360-degree rider protection, warning riders of potential threats in their blind spots, rear-collision warnings, and pedestrians crossing into their trajectory. The system will also provide LIME with ride metrics, including rider profiles and mapping of danger hot-spots.
