Danaher in talks to buy Israel's ASI for $30m
Danaher has signed a letter of intent for the acquisition of Applied Spectral Imaging, an Israeli company that sells computer imaging solutions for laboratories. The acquisition is valued at $30 million. Danaher, a US medical equipment firm, has a market cap of $62.3 billion and is focusing exclusively on scientific technology. This acquisition is part of Danahers growth strategy, as it has made over 400 acquisitions since 1984. Applied Spectral Imaging has raised over $26 million since its founding in 1993.
