Aqua Green Overview
Aqua Green plans, designs, and constructs all types of commercially viable intensive and semi-intensive aquaculture systems for growing saltwater, freshwater, or ornamental fish in any climate or location. The company has applied a new zero-discharge invention to existing RAS technology, offering complete turnkey solutions that make use of 100% recirculated water and produce fish with no discharge to the external environment. Aqua Green also builds tailor-made protein skimmers (foam fractionators); biofilters; water oxygenation and filtration equipment; pools and tanks; and cooling pads for use in hot, dry climates. Its Aqua Green Single Pass Biofilter (SPB) system is designed to make highly effective water treatment accessible and appropriate for widespread use in land-based aquaculture. The SPB system enables water to flow from the top down, filtering particles, removing CO2 and ammonia, and oxygenating the water before being recycled back into the pond. The improved water quality resulting from the ongoing filtering/cleaning and recycling increases the ability of fish to feed and grow.
