The IDF has decided to rely on inertial navigation systems as a backup to GPS in primary weapon systems due to concerns about jamming or denial of access. Arazim Company, a primary player in the manufacture of inertial navigation systems in Israel, supplies these systems to the Elta division of IAI. They have recently developed a miniaturized inertial navigation system for moving systems, which can be installed on lightweight UAVs. Arazims systems complement GPS and provide navigation solutions at a reasonable level of accuracy. Their biggest client is the Elta division of IAI, and their systems are used in various moving radar systems and surveillance systems. The companys growth engines include overseas activity and integration with robotics based on their gINS system.

Innovative navigation system - iHLS
Arazim, an Israeli developer of gyroscope-based inertial systems, is working on systems that complement GPS and help maintain orientation. The company aims to reduce the margin of error in GPS systems to a minimum. They are participating in the upcoming IAMD conference on March 31.
