AI Avatars Help Autistic People Hone Social Skills On Demand
Israeli startup Arrows has developed a web-based application, Skill Coach, that uses AI technology to help autistic individuals improve their social skills. The application allows users to engage in conversations with avatars in various scenarios, providing real-time feedback and recommendations. The AI was trained using an international program designed to enhance the social skills of autistic adults. The application will be tested by early adopters in the coming months. Arrows is also collaborating with Ciscos Israeli offices to integrate its visual cues into video conferencing platforms. The company has raised over $150,000 in funding, mostly from the Israel Innovation Authority.
