Augmentiqs Overview

Augmentiqs is a digital pathology platform designed to transform the existing microscope into a smart and connected device. Augmentiqs integrates within the microscope, enabling multi-directional communication between the microscope and a PC. The hardware includes an embedded camera, augmented reality of the eyepiece, and real-time tracking of stage activity. The platform enables the pathologist to view the same optical quality of the specimen while also accessing pathology software from within the microscope. Pathologists use Augmentiqs for real-time telepathology, deploying quantitative image analysis, AI training, LIS integration, workflow tracking, and more.

In Focus: Biomedical engineering students help advance digital microscope technology
