Rockwell Automation buys Avnet Data Security
Rockwell Automation, Inc. has announced its agreement to acquire Israeli cybersecurity company Avnet Data Security Ltd. The acquisition is expected to close in early 2020 and will not have a material impact on Rockwells 2020 financial results. The acquisition will allow Rockwell Automation to expand its services business in the rapidly growing cybersecurity market and serve a larger set of customers globally.
