The BMW Group is a manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles, and provider of premium financial and mobility services. The company owns four brands: BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce, and BMW Motorrad. BMW is the company's flagship brand, producing a wide range of luxury vehicles, including cars, SUVs, and sports cars. MINI is a British subcompact car brand that was acquired by BMW in 2000. Rolls-Royce is a British luxury car brand that has been owned by BMW since 1998. BMW Motorrad is the company's motorcycle division, producing a wide range of motorcycles, including street bikes, cruisers, and touring bikes. In 2019, the BMW Group established a Technology Office in Tel Aviv, Israel, tapping into the city’s startup ecosystem. This Technology Office is the fifth within BMW’s global R&D network, joining existing offices around the world. The Tel Aviv office is designed to be highly agile and innovative, staffed by a small team of multidisciplinary experts. These experts will focus on scouting and evaluating groundbreaking technologies and trends, fostering partnerships with promising local startups, and initiating joint research projects with leading Israeli universities.
