With new light show, 2,000-year-old Masada gets makeover fit for a millennial
Israels Nature and Parks Authority (INPA) has unveiled a new audio-visual show at Masada National Park, aimed at attracting younger audiences. The project, titled From Sunset to Sunrise, replaces a light and sound show that had been running for 30 years. The new show uses advanced technologies, including 4K video and video mapping, to tell the story of Masada and the Roman invasion. The INPA invested NIS 10 million (USD 2.7 million) in the project, which took three years to complete. Masada National Park is Israels most popular national park, attracting over a million visitors annually.

NFC RFID Activates Israeli Digital-Entertainment Complex
Breeze Creative has developed NFC-based technology for Mogo Park, an Israel-based digital-entertainment park. The technology allows children and teens to operate interactive games using RFID wristbands provided by Tadbik. The wristbands not only launch games but also collect game scores, photographs, and videos. Breeze Creative worked with Tadbik to develop a system that identifies each user and saves their data while visiting Mogo Park. The park consists of game kiosks and screens, and the challenge was to provide a uniform way for kids to access the games and their scores. Tadbik created a special band that fits a childs arm and accommodates an RFID inlay. The park processes approximately 1,000 users daily and has used 40,000 bands to date.
