Cando Drones Overview

Cando has developed a platform based on a robust system that combines stationary sensors (on masts and tied drones) and mobile devices (a variety of drones). The platform enables the detection and investigation of threats with autonomous management and control of a multi-drone fleet. Cando enables quick coverage of agricultural areas, forests, and nature reserves. It collects information on plant health, crops, and potential problems, allowing faster, more accurate, and cost-effective responses in order to prevent crises. Detectors and other technology installed on a variety of drones enable the collection of more information in order to quickly discover and identify various objects and bodies over large areas. In addition, Cando has developed a concept in response to the Israeli Ministry of Transport's demand for the NA'AMA project (urban air mobility) and is in the process of collaborating with a strategic partner.

Cando Drones, an Israeli company that develops and operates autonomous drone fleets for delivery and security tasks, is seeking additional funding at a valuation of around 100 million shekels. The company, in which Rami Levy owns a 33% stake, has doubled its value since Levy purchased his shares a year and a half ago. The current funding round is intended to finance the expansion of the companys operations abroad. To date, 10 million shekels have been invested in the company, which employs about 50 people.

Rami Levy buys stake in drone delivery fleet startup

Israeli supermarket chain Rami Levy has acquired a 33.3% stake in Cando Drones, a company engaged in command, control and operation of drone fleets. The investment is part of Rami Levys move towards food drone deliveries, with plans to operate a fleet of 100 drones as part of a delivery network.
