Israeli-European venture capital firm Cardumen Capital has raised $120 million for its second deep tech fund to invest in early-stage Israeli startups. The fund will be invested in pre-Seed and Seed stage companies in fields such as AI, cybersecurity, big data, and information technologies. The new funding brings Cardumens assets under management to $225 million. The firm, which has offices in Tel Aviv and Madrid, has so far invested in 32 Israeli companies.

Tel Aviv-based venture capital firm Cardumen Capital has secured $60 million in commitments for its first fund. Led by former corporate investors Gonzalo Martinez de Azagra and Roy Gottlieb, Cardumen focuses on early-stage deep tech B2B startups. The firm aims to invest in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, big data, IoT, and industry 4.0 startups. Cardumen plans to make at least 10 more investments within the next two years, with initial investments ranging from $1 million to $3 million per company. The firm already has six portfolio companies, including Humavox Ltd., MultiVu Technologies Ltd., and CoreTigo Ltd. Cardumen is backed by Banco Sabadell, Repsol S.A., and other corporations, financial institutions, and individual investors primarily from Europe and Latin America.

Cardumen Capital, an Israeli-European venture capital and private equity firm, has completed a $60 million financing round for its first venture capital fund. The fund will invest in Israeli early-stage deep technology ventures, focusing on sectors such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, Internet of Things, software infrastructure, and big data. Cardumen Capital has already invested in seven companies, with an average investment of $1.5 million per company. The funds investors include Spanish oil corporation Repsol and Spanish bank Banco Sabadell, as well as other corporations, financial institutions, and private individuals from Europe and Latin America.
