Cartier Womens Initiative Overview

The Cartier Women's Initiative is an annual international entrepreneurship program that aims to drive change by empowering women impact entrepreneurs. Founded in 2006 as part of the Womens Forum for the Economy and Society, the program is open to women-run and women-owned businesses from any country and sector that aim to have a strong and sustainable social and/or environmental impact. In the 15 years since the initiatives establishment, the Cartier Womens Initiative has recognized and supported 262 women from 62 countries working in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, e-learning, and agriculture. The company has partnered with Tech It Forward, the Israeli agency that aims to be an innovation bridge maker between Israeli startups and global firms, to bring the programs 2023 edition to Israel. It aims to find women-led businesses, women-led for-profit startups, and female researchers from various fields to join the initiative. First, second, and third place awardees will receive grants, with no condition of equity, of $100,000, $60,000, and $30,000, respectively. Winners will also receive tailored mentoring, coaching, media visibility, and networking opportunities from INSEADs Social Entrepreneurship Program and/or Executive Education Program.
