CleanFlare, an innovative company that monitors smoke emissions from refineries and drilling rigs, has secured an unprecedented investment of five million shekels from investor Oren Dobronsky. The companys founder, Kobi Yaakov, agreed to sell a third of his company in exchange for the investment. The funds will be used to bring innovation in the business model and to penetrate markets outside Israel. The company has also entered into a partnership with the Mepatagon group, known as IN.P.C., which sells equipment to the Ministry of Environmental Quality, Intel, and other bodies.

CleanFlare Awarded IIA Funding
CleanFlare has been awarded funding from the Israeli Innovation Authority for piloting its innovative Flare Monitoring and Control System. The funding was awarded under the joint framework of the Israeli Innovation Authority and the Ministry of Environmental Protection. CleanFlares client, Variance Ascola, supported the application submission process.
