Israeli investment activity to continue despite Comcast Ventures being folded in

Comcast is shutting down its investment arm, Comcast Ventures, and shifting all startup investment activities to its business development division. This move is expected to prompt the departure of some of the funds partners. Comcasts representative in Israel, Daniel Czertok, will stay on as part of the business development division and lead the companys strategic investments in Israel. Among Comcasts Israeli investments is BigID, a privacy protection company. The companys spokesperson confirmed the move, stating that they are aligning their approach to venture investing more closely with their business units.
