Schneider Electric, in partnership with Control See, helped a long-time customer in Sweden, a nationwide healthcare organization, upgrade its energy systems to reduce consumption. The customer wanted to transition from Schneider Electrics legacy product, TAC Vista, to EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO). However, the transition faced a hardware challenge as the customers system relied on Piigab converters, which lacked support for the native OPC client in EBO. Instead of replacing the hardware, a software solution from Control See was implemented, saving the customer nearly $40,000 and completing the project in seven days.

The property was using Andover Continuum BMS from Schneider Electric, but decided to transition to EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO), Schneider Electrics building management platform. The transition was successful, but a VT-1 voice unit used to alert police when a panic button was pressed was not supported in EBO. Wilson Electrical Services found a solution in Control Sees UCME-SmartConnector, an alert notification software for EBO. The software can send SMS, push, email, and VoIP messages in response to alarms and system alarms that start or end in the EBO system.
