Israeli cyber security co Cronus raises $3.5m
Cyber security startup Cronus Cyber has raised $3.5 million in a financing round. The company, which uses an algorithm to imitate the way hackers think, has raised a total of $6.2 million since its founding. The funding will enable Cronus to expand its business to the US market. The companys product is currently installed at financial concerns and large organizations, including the First International Bank of Israel and Fortune 1000 companies. Cronus received previous funding from the Ministry of the Economy and Industry Chief Scientist. The companys chairman is former Israeli Air Force chief Eitan Ben Eliyahu.

Cyber security co Cronus raises $2.2m
Israeli cybersecurity startup Cronus has raised $2.2 million in funding from JANVEST Capital Partners LLC and other investors. The funding is in addition to the investment it had already received from the Office of the Chief Scientist. The company has also announced that former Israeli Air Force chief Eitan Ben Eliyahu has been named chairman of the board. Cronus has developed the CyBot, a virtual hacker that can mimic the common patterns of a normal hacker, allowing companies to simulate penetration scenarios.
