Cryptonomica Overview

Cryptonomica has developed a global identity verification service for signing electronic documents, blockchain transactions, and KYC. The companys platform connects notaries from different countries for the verification of cryptographic keys using OpenPGP standard in order to establish a connection between a person and his or her key. The verified key can then be used for signing documents, account verification, online dispute resolution, and more.

Bancor Wins First Place Again at International Startups Competition Finance Magnates

The Floor, along with Intel and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE), organized the First International Blockchain Hackathon, which was a success. The hackathon aimed to increase awareness about the potential of distributed ledger technology (DLT) and its use cases. Teams from around the world participated in the hackathon, presenting their ideas to some of the biggest banks in the world. The winners included Bitmark, Tel Aviv University, Cryptonomica, and Bancor. Bancor, which also won a startup competition held by CoinAgenda, developed a Smart Contract-based token conversion protocol. Its native token, BANCOR, will be introduced through a crowdsale on May 30, 2017.
