Cellebrite alums raise $8.5M in Seed funding to guard against rogue AI agents | CTech
Cyata, a cybersecurity startup founded by alumni of Unit 8200, Cellebrite, and Check Point, has launched from stealth with $8.5 million in Seed funding led by TLV Partners. The company aims to address the growing threat of AI agents operating without oversight in enterprise environments. Cyatas platform provides a control plane for agentic identities, offering automated discovery of AI agents, mapping them to human owners, and assessing risk. The platform includes a forensic layer that tracks agent activity and applies just-in-time access control. The founding team includes CTO Baruch Weizman and VP R&D Dror Roth, with a significant portion of the leadership coming from Cellebrite. The investment round also saw participation from former Cellebrite CEOs Ron Serber and Yossi Carmil.
