The Israeli startup claims its hardware makes data impossible to intercept or decrypt, even in the quantum era.
CyberRidge, an Israeli startup specializing in photonic encryption technology, has raised $16 million in a Series A funding round led by Arkin, Redseed VC, Elron Ventures, and a grant from the European Innovation Council. The companys technology, which originated in academia, is designed to make data transmission immune to interception and decryption, even by quantum computers. CyberRidges system integrates with existing fiber infrastructure and transforms data into encrypted optical noise. The company is currently undergoing a strategic revamp and has its technology tested by leading organizations in communications, security, and intelligence across Europe, Singapore, and Australia. Founded in February 2022 by Professor Dan Sadot, CyberRidge employs about 20 people and aims to transform secure global communications.

The Israeli cybersecurity company has developed a photonic-based encryption layer for optical fiber networks that introduces a transformative approach to securing data in transit by making it disappear.
CyberRidge, an Israeli startup, has emerged from stealth with a $26 million funding round to advance its photonic-based encryption technology for optical fiber networks. The company, led by CEO Prof. Dan Sadot, aims to address the looming post-quantum threat by securing data in transit through a novel approach that masks signals with optical noise. This technology has already been successfully tested in various locations, including Telecom Italias labs and an Israeli security agency, which is now a paying customer. Despite challenges posed by geopolitical tensions, CyberRidge continues to expand and protect against current fiber-optic intrusions.

Cyberidge, a recently established company, has received significant investment from Awz Ventures. The company is developing a unique layer of optical defense against powerful cyber attacks, including those carried out by supercomputers. The unique encryption method of Cyberidge, based on the smart modulation of multi-mode locked optical laser beams, provides protection for information transferred between data centers using optical communication lines (DCI technology) in real time, at low cost and with significant energy savings. The unique technology of Cyberidge is expected to be in high demand both from governmental-security bodies in Israel and abroad and from large civilian organizations holding particularly sensitive information.
