Cymulate acquires CYNC Secure to enhance exposure management solutions
Cymulate, a cybersecurity company specializing in threat exposure validation, is acquiring Israeli startup CYNC Secure to enhance its operational efficiency tools. The acquisition, valued at approximately $10 million, will integrate CYNC Secures technology into Cymulates platform, aiming to improve exposure management programs. CYNC Secures management and development teams will join Cymulate, with Meir Abergel taking on the role of Vice President of Business Development and Alliances. However, five of CYNC Secures 20 employees will be laid off due to a lack of suitable positions. Cymulate serves over 1,000 customers globally and has raised $141 million to date. The acquisition is expected to accelerate value realization for customers adopting Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) programs.
