The company will operate digitally and offer real-time policy acquisition, service, and claims settlement through computer or smartphone. Initially, the company will focus on insurance against diseases and hospitalization, with plans to expand its activity later. DavidShield-PassportCard, previously operating as specialized insurance agencies, will now operate as an independent insurance company. The group has international activities and provides medical services to policyholders in over 140 countries. The company joins two other digital insurance companies that have received regulatory approval and are already selling insurance to the general public in Israel.
