Dialogic, an Enghouse Company is is a cloud-optimized solutions provider for real-time communication media, application, and infrastructure providers. Dialogic enables agility for service providers, enterprises, and application developers around the globe. Dialogic Networks (Israel) Ltd is a development center for network communication solutions and also operates sales and support activities. The local branch began as a unit of the telephony networking compression solutions developer ECI Telecom Ltd. In 2003, the unit was merged with US company IP Verse to create Veraz Networks, which developed IP network compression products for telecommunications vendors. Veraz merged with Dialogic in 2010 and hasoperated as Dialogic since then.

Enghouse Systems Acquires Dialogic

Enghouse Systems Limited has acquired Dialogic Group Inc. for approximately $52.0 million. Dialogic is an industry leader in media processing software and its revenue over the next twelve months is projected to be between $58.0 million and $63.0 million. The acquisition strengthens Enghouses position in the enterprise video and unified communications market segment. Dialogics solutions support real-time video conferencing and collaboration applications across all devices. Enghouse Systems aims to build a more diverse enterprise software company through strategic acquisitions and managed growth within its business sectors.

Dialogic fires 30 in Israel

Dialogic Inc. is set to cut its workforce at its Israeli development center by half, resulting in the loss of 30 jobs. This is part of a larger global downsizing effort that will see 95 employees let go, representing 13% of the companys total workforce. The layoffs will reduce the total Israeli workforce by a quarter, to 90 people. Despite the cutbacks, Dialogic VP of strategy and marketing, Andrew Goldberg, maintains that the Israeli branch will continue to be important for the companys future.
