New bandwidth service to be launched for Zimbabwean corporates
Internet service provider iWayAfrica has partnered with Israel-based DiViNetworks to provide bandwidth services to corporate customers in Zimbabwe. The service, enabled by DiViNetworks, does not require any hardware in premise unlike other MPLS solutions and can be set up within minutes. The new service will allow corporate customers to benefit from network services that were previously only affordable to large enterprises. The flexibility of the service will enable setting policies for any content or application.

World Bank invests $5m in broadband co DiViNetworks
IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, has invested $5 million in DiViNetworks, a Tel Aviv based company that provides network operators and ISPs with cloud-based broadband solutions. The investment will fuel the companys aggressive growth in emerging economies, enabling ISPs in those countries to economically and efficiently connect their users to the cloud. DiViNetworks technology is offered as a monthly service and plays an important role in expanding broadband access in a simple and cost-efficient manner. Most of the companys clients are located in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and South East Asia, with 80% based in the worlds least developed countries. The investment from IFC marks their first investment with an Israeli company in the technology sector.
