Eaton is a power management company which provides energy-efficient solutions that help customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more efficiently, safely and sustainably. Eaton is dedicated to improving the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services. Eaton Israel operates through two sites a sales, marketing and support center in Ra'anana and a logistics and distribution center in Ashdod. The products and services offered in Israel include power distribution, energy storage, industrial automation and data center solutions, as well as life safety products for fire detection, emergency notification and safe evacuation including adaptive emergency lighting systems. In 2021, Eaton acquired Tripp Lite and inherited the activity of its R&D center.

Energy giant Eaton mulls Israel R&D center, investments

US energy management technology company Eaton has founded a subsidiary in Israel and invested tens of millions of shekels. The company plans to market products and services directly to Israeli customers and aims to double its sales in Israel in the next three years. Eaton is considering investments in energy technology companies in Israel and the possibility of building an Israeli R&D center. The company will have a sales, marketing, and support center in Raanana and a logistics and distribution center in Ashdod. Eaton has 96,000 employees worldwide and had sales of $20.4 billion in 2017.
