דור כימיקלים and EDF Renewables have signed a preliminary agreement to establish a green hydrogen project at Dors factory in Haifa Bay. The project, estimated to cost several million shekels, will be the first of its kind in Israel. Solar panels will be installed on the factorys roofs, which will be used to produce green hydrogen. The project is expected to start operating within the next two years. Dor Chemicals, already produces hydrogen from methanol, and will be able to use its existing infrastructure to store the green hydrogen produced by solar energy.

EDF Renewables Israel to model solar energy data for trading insights
EDF Renewables Israel is partnering with California-based Tigo Energy to use its AI and machine learning platform, Predict+, to derive insights from energy meter data in its solar farms. The platform will be used to forecast and model energy meter data, manage market insights about demand, renewable supply and utility pricing in the Israeli energy market, conduct profit analyses, and produce accurate, consistent, and regulation-compliant reporting data for Israeli grid operator Noga. The partnership is an extension of an existing collaboration between the two companies.
