Edtech start-ups get a boost from new funding

Israeli edtech firm Time to Know has launched Edvantage, a venture capital fund and incubator designed to encourage startups in the informal education sector. The project will provide seed money, mentoring, business plan development, and assistance in developing markets to startups. The company plans to fund six startups this year. Time to Know is a division of the Aurec Group and one of the first companies to develop digital materials for the classroom in Israel.
