Israeli Startup Jet Eat Wins European Food Accelerator Network Competition
Jet Eat, a startup based in Ness Ziona, has been selected as one of the winners of the 2018 Food Accelerator Network Program competition. The company has developed a technology for 3D printing of vegan meat substitutes. The winners of the competition, hosted by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT), were announced at the EIT Food Venture Summit in Paris. Jet Eat received an equity-free cash prize of €60,000 ($68,348). The company aims to roll out its product by 2020 and is currently working on a seed round investment. Two Israeli Startups To Compete At Prestigious 2018 EU Food Venture Summit
Two Israeli startups, Jet-Eat and Kiinns, have been selected as finalists for the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Food Venture Summit. The startups will compete for equity-free cash prizes of $68,000. The EIT Food Accelerator Network, which ran four-month program accelerators in Switzerland, Germany, and Israel, selected the finalists from a group of 41 agri-food technology startups. Jet-Eat develops 3D print technology for vegan meat substitutes, while Kiinns has developed patent-pending technology to eliminate the need for cleaning food-processing equipment. The competition will take place on November 28th.
