Israeli startup Emnotion is using artificial intelligence to predict extreme weather events up to three months in advance. The companys technology analyzes global meteorological data and applies AI to assess how specific conditions in one microclimate could cause a weather disaster in another. Emnotions system has already mapped close to 90% of the world and is being used by clients in logistics, manufacturing, and agriculture. The company has also collaborated with the UN Development Programme to provide high-quality forecasts to small and medium-scale farmers in Asia.
