Israel's En Gibton is fountain of youth to polluted water wells
En Gibton, an Israeli company, is developing a water filtration solution called ClayMix that aims to make drinking water cleaner and safer. The solution, made from clay and natural organic materials, can remove up to 99% of targeted contaminants from water. En Gibtons CEO, Rafi Nevo, highlights the cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency of the solution. The company is currently testing the ClayMix solution in Israeli water wells contaminated with perchlorates, a byproduct of rocket fuel. En Gibton plans to expand its operations to the United States, particularly in regions like Colorado where perchlorates have become an environmental concern. The company is supported by Israels national water utility and is looking for potential US-based pilot plants for its solution.
