EnergyCom Overview

EnergyCom, the Israeli energy innovation community, was initiated by the Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Israel Innovation Authority. It is being operated by two private, not-for-profit organizations: Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy and the Israeli Smart Energy Association. The community's mission is to position Israel as a leader in the changing energy market, expand local energy research, support new venture and jobs creation, improve the local energy market, and contribute to Israels sustainable economic growth. EnergyCom operates with all local stakeholders through three pillars: Awareness buildup for the needs and opportunities of the changing energy domain Knowledge enrichment on technical and business aspects Business opportunities and collaboration facilitation among local and global players

Energicom, an Israeli energy innovation community, is inviting entrepreneurs and companies to participate in the smart energy innovation challenge of the New York State Electric Company. The challenge, which will open in February 2022, offers a prize of one million dollars for funding an innovation and smart energy project. This is the second year the challenge is being held, with last years winner being Israeli company Prisma Photonics. Energicoms main activities include raising awareness, building and sharing knowledge, and making opportunities in the field of energy innovation accessible.

The Ministry of Economy and Industry, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and the Innovation Authority, launched the EnergyCom.il innovation community. The goal is to build an economic growth engine by positioning Israel as a leader in energy innovation, expanding research in the field, creating jobs, increasing exports, and integrating energy markets in Israel.
