A new angel investor club, Eretz Angels, has been established to invest in startups in peripheral areas. The club was established in collaboration with the Kibbutz Movement, the Kibbutz Industry Association, the Central Cooperative, the New Guard Land Fund, and the Kinneret Innovation Center. The club aims to invest in opportunities with the potential to make a significant impact, such as the agricultural value chain, water, energy, health, biotechnology, and recycling. The establishment of the club is intended to accelerate technological innovation and entrepreneurship, especially in light of the freeze in the startup world in Israel since the outbreak of the war.
