Database optimization startup EverSQL acquired by Finland's Aiven | CTech

Israeli startup EverSQL, which developed an AI product to optimize database performance, has been acquired by Finnish company Aiven. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. EverSQL, which was bootstrapped since its inception three years ago, has more than 100,000 software engineers in 90 countries using its solution. The company will now hire additional staff. Aiven, which recently received a $3 billion valuation, plans to integrate EverSQL’s AI-powered optimization engine into its open source platform to provide automated insights to help fine-tune their data architecture.
