Casual game developer Everybuddy enters bankruptcy after accumulating over $4 million in debt | CTech
Everybuddy Games, an Israeli startup behind the popular mobile game Lucky Buddies, has been appointed a trustee by the Tel Aviv District Court due to a debt of approximately $4.1 million. The company, which raised $15 million in a Series A funding round in November 2022, once employed over 70 people but now only has seven remaining. The court has authorized the trustee to examine proposals for the sale of the company or its assets. Everybuddy Games has petitioned the court to continue its activities through a temporary trustee to prevent damage to its assets.

The game has attracted hundreds of thousands of players since its launch earlier this year. Everybuddy Games is based in Tel Aviv and was founded by a team of serial entrepreneurs.
