FemForward Overview

FemForward is a program for women in tech working in junior positions that provides the tools, network and mentorship to advance into management. To date, there have been 4 cohorts with over 100 graduates and a success rate of an average of 50% of participants receiving a salary raise and/or job promotion immediatley after the 3-month program. In partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem, we created FemForward MENA for women from the Abraham Accords' countries - Bahrain, Israel, Morocco and the UAE. FemForward MENA launched its first cohort in Morocco in May 2023 for 23 women from Israel and Morocco. The next cohort of FemForward will launch in May 2024 specifically catered for women affected by the war.

Abraham Accords empower tech women's growth - opinion

FemForward, Israels first junior-to-manager program, has empowered women in the tech industry to seek higher roles and break through the broken-rung problem. The program was launched in Morocco in 2023, aiming to build business connections between women in the Abraham Accords countries. The program includes lectures by leading female executives and a mentorship program. It has not only helped women in their career advancement but also facilitated cultural exchange and understanding between Moroccan and Israeli women.

FemForward kicks off first Moroccan, Israeli cohort in Casablanca

FemForward, a Jerusalem-based organization that addresses gender disparity in tech industry managerial positions, has expanded its operations to include Moroccan women. The first FemForward seminar in Casablanca saw 11 Israeli women paired with 11 Moroccan women for a program of mentorship and career development. The initiative, which has received grants from the American Embassy in Jerusalem and the UAE-Israel Business Council, plans to establish cohorts in the UAE and Bahrain over the next two years.

The FemForward sisterhood that helps women in tech get their due

FemForward, a Jerusalem-based project, is empowering women in the tech industry by providing lectures, mentorship, and networking opportunities. The project, which targets the citys tech community, focuses on helping women progress from junior to managerial positions in tech. The three-month program, which concludes its second class in June with over 30 participants, is designed to provide a comprehensive and informative experience for women working in Jerusalem-based tech companies. FemForward plans to expand the program outside Jerusalem and into other fields, including a joint program with women from the UAE.
