Through the depth and breadth of the company's solutions portfolio, global capabilities, and domain expertise, FIS serves more than 20,000 clients in over 130 countries. FIS Israel began operations in Israel as a consequence of its acquisition of SunGard, which already had R&D activities in the country. SunGard has operated in Israel since 1999, following the acquisition of Oshap, an Israeli software company. Today, the center runs R&D, sales, and support activities.

US Software Co SunGard Buys Israeli Co Oshap for $210 Mln
