Flash Networks, a leading provider of mobile Internet optimization and monetization solutions, released results from its first deployment with a live operator network traffic. The results showed that implementing Flash Networks xtraAir™ reduced the number of radio connections by 22.7%, conserving RAN resources and minimizing unnecessary signaling. This could result in a reduction of 600 million unnecessary messages per day for a carrier with 10M subscribers. The tests were conducted in cooperation with a global network operator group in Europe. Flash Networks xtraAir™ Signaling and Radio Connection Optimization improves radio spectral efficiency, allowing operators to serve up to 35% more users using the same network resources.
