flexiWAN Overview

FlexiWAN is a software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) architecture that has been designed to be open and modular, enabling third-party logic to be integrated into the system's core. This feature provides flexibility to enterprises and service providers to adapt their SD-WAN solutions without being restricted by vendor lock, specific routing capabilities, or high costs that are often associated with proprietary SD-WAN solutions. FlexiWAN's open-source SD-WAN infrastructure includes vRouter, management, orchestration, and automation, along with core SD-WAN baseline functionality. The open architecture of flexiWAN allows service providers and enterprises to deploy a secured SD-WAN solution while retaining complete control over the system. In addition, flexiWAN allows SaaS application providers and managed service providers to add elements that differentiate their service from that of their competitors by closely managing their traffic based on dynamic feedback from their application.
