Flight Medical dismisses loss of patent license
The license holder to the patent that underpins Flight Medical Innovations Ltd.s respiratory products has unilaterally cancelled the companys right to use the patent. The patent holders claim that the sale of Flight Medicals parent company to another company was a breach of contract. Flight Medical is now marketing new versions of its respirators, but the cancellation of the patent license has resulted in a commercial dispute between Flight Medical and the patent holder.

FDA approves Flight Medical's portable ventilator
Flight Medical Innovations Ltd. has obtained FDA marketing approval for its Flight 60 portable ventilator. The company previously obtained EU CE Mark certification for the product. Flight Medical is building marketing networks in Europe, the US, and other countries, and expects to begin sales in the fourth quarter of this year. The company is also seeking regulatory approval in China and other countries. The share price of Flight Medical rose 12.4% in morning trading.
