Use of indwelling catheters and incontinent diapers fail to provide either an efficient nursing regimen or any kind of safe effective treatment for patients, especially females, suffering from moderate to severe bladder control difficulties (involving leakage). FlowPed’s vision is to develop a novel nursing & diagnostic platform, that will help to radically improve the current method of care. The company is creating a home health treatment platform that maintains the independence & wellbeing of the ageing population. FlowPed developed Dry-One, a self-drying interactive pad that needs to be changed only once every 24 hours of use. It also developed a remote patient data monitoring platform that provides complete transparency of patient’s condition, 24 hours per day. Allows unique freedom to treat & reduce symptoms in a controlled manner as well as access to AI-enabled analysis that will identify developing-dehydration & onset of urinary infections.
