Automotive Company Faurecia Opens Tel Aviv Cybersecurity Outpost

Euronext Paris-listed Faurecia S.A. has opened a cybersecurity outpost in Tel Aviv, operating under its Israeli subsidiary, Faurecia Security Technologies Ltd. The new office will focus on technologies to counter cyber attacks on autonomous vehicles, vehicle data breaches, and improving vehicle tracking for emergency responders. The new office will also serve Faurecia in scouting for Israeli startups to partner with and invest in. Faurecia has had a presence in Israel since 2016 and in June, the company backed Israeli automotive cybersecurity startup Guardknox Cyber Technologies Ltd.
