GDH TLV Overview

GDH (Global Digital Hub) TLV is a joint partnership between Israels direct insurance company IDI Insurance and Japanese-based insurance company Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (MSI). The innovation hub is tasked with advancing innovation in the Insurtech industry in Israel, through innovative products and solutions for both groups and will focus on finding start-ups and technology companies that will develop advanced products and solutions aimed for direct and digital insurance. The Hub will implement an expedited feasibility checks facility, which will enable the company, MSI and the developers to conduct technological Proof of Concept processes, within a fast turnaround time. MSI will also provide access to its technological infrastructure and marketing channels within and outside Japan.

Israel's IDI Insurance and Japan-based MSI launch 'The HUB' to promote innovation

IDI Insurance has partnered with Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance to create an innovation hub in Israel called GDH TLV. The hub will focus on advancing innovation in the insurtech space in Israel and developing new products and solutions for both countries. The partnership will help IDI Insurance improve the customer journey, underwriting, claim-handling, and operational efficiency. The hub will also foster startups in the direct and digital insurance sector, with a focus on AI, machine learning, data, fraud detection, cybersecurity, process automation, and connected cars. The Japanese staff of the hub will provide access to technological infrastructure and marketing channels in Japan, while IDI Insurance will provide knowledge, experience, and connections in Israel. The partnership is seen as strategic and will bring added value to both companies.
