Genband Llc provides real-time communications software solutions for service providers, enterprises, independent software vendors, systems integrators, and developers in over 80 countries. Its network modernization, unified communications, mobility, and embedded communication solutions enable customers to quickly capitalize on growing market segments and introduce differentiating products, applications, and services. Genband is present in Israel with Fringland Ltd (Fring), a developer ofmobile communication services that give users internet-rich communication from their mobile phones. Fring offers its users video calls, group video calls, voice calls, and live chat to other Fringsters and to friends on other social networks. As a subsidiary of Genband, Fring continues to developits existing product portfolio. In 2017, Sonus and Genband completed a merger and rebranded as Ribbon Communications.

Sonus Networks, Inc. and GENBAND have announced a definitive agreement to merge, creating a leader in next-generation communications networking. The transaction values the combined company at an enterprise value of approximately $745 million. The merger will combine Sonus software-based leadership position in real-time communication virtualization, cloud-based session initiation protocol (SIP) and 4G/voice-over LTE solutions and security initiatives with GENBANDs network modernization, unified communications, and mobility and embedded communications solutions. The combined company is expected to generate at least $100 million in annual EBITDA, with fiscal year 2020 EBITDA projected to be approximately $140 million.

Office Tour: Genband Offices - Petah Tikvah

Ilana Moskovitz Design Studio has created a new office space in Israel for communication company Genband. The office space was designed to host 80 high-tech workers and aimed to balance extensive communication among co-workers with the need for calm and private meeting sections. The design selection had to be simple due to low budget boundaries. The office features large open spaces, large and small meeting rooms, and a colorful working environment. The design incorporates a total-color approach, with each room being a different color and meeting rooms being numbered distinctively. The project was completed in 2015.
