Electric vehicle charging startup Driivz acquired for $200 million by Gilbarco Veeder-Root
Tel Aviv-based electric vehicle charging company Driivz is being acquired by U.S. fueling technology and equipment company Gilbarco Veeder-Root for $200 million. Gilbarco led Driivz’ $11 million Series C in February 2020. British energy company Centrica and Volvo have also invested in the Israeli company, which has raised a total of $37 million to date. Driivz develops and sells a cloud-based electric vehicle charging network management software currently used by over one million users. It employs 80 people, most of them in Israel and they are all set to retain their jobs following the acquisition.

Gilbarco buys Israeli automatic fueling co Orpak
OR Technologies Ltd. is selling its 68% stake in subsidiary Orpak, which produces automatic fueling systems, to the Gilbarco group for $160 million. The deal values Orpak at $225 million. Gilbarco, which already owns 20% of Orpak, will have an 88% holding in the company after the deal. The completion of the deal is contingent on several conditions, including approval of the merger by the antitrust authorities in Israel and Turkey, and the continued employment of key personnel in the company.
