Korea's Yanolja buys Israel's Go Global Travel
South Koreas Yanolja Co. is set to acquire Israeli technology provider Go Global Travel, making Yanolja one of the worlds largest travel solution platforms. The acquisition is being made by Apax Mid-Market Israel (AMI), which controls Go Global Travel. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed, but market sources believe that AMI has made a handsome profit on the sale. Go Global Travel, with its search engine for travel agencies, currently links 10,000 tourism platforms with a million hotel rooms, car rentals, and flights in Europe and North America. The acquisition will help Yanolja expand its cloud arm serving the hospitality and leisure industries to Europe and North America.
