INFRALAB, a joint innovation lab of Shikun & Binui and global energy consortium ENEL, is developing products to revolutionize the construction and real estate industries. The lab was established with the encouragement of the Innovation Authority, which allocated a third of the establishment costs, up to 4 million shekels. The state also funds about half the costs, up to a ceiling of 500,000 shekels per year. The lab hosts startups working in the fields of construction, infrastructure, and energy. The lab has already seen success with Blade Ranger, a company that developed a robot for cleaning solar panels and has already gone public on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
