Groove: The New App Bringing the "Water Cooler" to Working From Home
Groove, the first mobile app to connect solo workers for on-demand social focus sessions, has launched. The app targets solo businesses and hybrid and remote workers, providing social connection and accountability to combat distraction and lack of motivation. Up to four workers can participate in 50-minute focus sessions with video calls at the beginning and end. Groove has secured $3.5 million in funding led by Mike Hirshland of Resolute Ventures. The app has been used by solo workers for 10 hours per week since its beta launch a year ago. Groove aims to become the ultimate human-powered support system for solo, hybrid, and remote workers.
