Guide In Medical is a medical-device company developing a guided intubation system. Israeli medical startup raises NIS 2m for life-saving trachea device

Israeli startup Guide In Medical has raised 2 million shekels ($529,000) from local pharmaceutical firm CTS Group and private investors to further develop its device for facilitating respiratory procedures. The device, which is currently in the process of meeting European Union approval, is designed to help medical professionals with the complex procedure of intubation. It uses non-invasive technology to locate the trachea and facilitate the insertion of a tube. The company expects to have approval from the US Food and Drug Administration by the end of the year. Guide In Medical has received a total investment of NIS 3 million since its establishment in 2015.
