KAP AG, a mid-sized industrial holding company, has successfully acquired 100% of the shares in plastics specialist Haogenplast Ltd. BIRD to invest $5.1m in Israel-US cleantech projects
The US Department of Energy and Israels Ministry of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources have selected six projects to receive $5.1 million under the 2015 Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Energy program. The selected projects address energy challenges and opportunities of interest to both countries, while focusing on commercializing clean energy technologies. This is the seventh round of funding for BIRD Energy, which has approved 28 projects with a total investment of about $22 million.
