Harman International Industries Overview
Harman International Industries Inc designs and engineers connected products and solutions for automakers, consumers, and enterprises worldwide, including connected car systems, audio and visual products, enterprise automation solutions, and connected services. The company's software services power billions of mobile devices and systems that are connected, integrated, and secure across all platforms. In March 2017, Harman became a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Ltd. HARMAN’s entrance to Israel was made by a series of acquisitions: It acquired iOnRoad, a red alert company. Red Bend, which enables today’s cars to be connected to the cloud and TowerSec Automotive Cybersecurity. The three companies were consolidated into one R&D center, Harman Automotive Israel, that develops and sells software products to global car manufactures (OEMs), including cloud, over-the-air update solution and cybersecurity.
